According to a study done in 2003 by United States National Institutes of Health, there are one-third of all adult Americans, about 50 to 70 millions representing approximately 20 percent of the US population, has a problem with their sleep. Although no world level research done related to sleep problem, the numbers showed by the US research has showed that sleep problem is also a problem for part of the world population.

The research also shows that sleep problem does not happen only on adult, but also children and elderly.

Simple Problem Could Kill

Sleep problem could affect directly to our daily activity, in some cases it even could lead to death. A recent study found that a person could die due to lack of sleep, rather than any other deprivation (water, food etc). That is why, it is very important that you take any of this problem seriously. Sleep disorder that commonly faced and could possess danger is sleep apnea.

The Right Way To Fall Asleep

Sleep apnea is a serious disease, it responsible for millions of deaths around the world. Though this website provide prescribed treatment and medication, a natural cure would always be easier and better to adopts. You might need to know that sleep problem doesn’t always mean sleep apnea.

There are many traditional ways you can choose to have a good sleep. A few of these are what i tried by myself. Try them and see whether it ease the sleep problem you have. In case it does not, then you should consider checking with your doctor for in depth check up and necessary medication.

  1. Relax your mind before retiring to bed. Try your best to clear everything from your mind while sleeping. The best would be to learn a few meditation techniques and practice these before sleep so you could calm your mind.
  2. If for any reasons you find that it hard for you to fall asleep, stop pushing yourself to sleep. Get up from the bed, make a hot cup of hot chocolate or milk but not coffee, and do something you like and could make you relaxed. Avoid reading ghost stories neither see action or horror movies because These things could excite your mind and going to be counter productive for you.
  3. Reading is an option too, just makesure that the book you choose is not something that would keep you awake with fear or excited. In most cases this could solve your sleep problem.
  4. Avoid doing anything lead to your adrenalin pump much faster, such as sport.

Decent sleep is what you need

Everybody need their decent sleep to hinder sleep problem. Each of us has different sleep need.

Try to understand your biological clock. What time you feel sleepy naturally? What time you wake up normally. The difference between your sleepy time to your normal wake up time means how long you should sleep.

Try checking how many hours per day you give your self to rest. Less as well as more sleep might going to give you sleep problem.

Whenever you have less or more, you would need to put in efforts to bring it back to the normal time amount you basically need.

A routine time of wake-up and sleep might sound impossible to do by some of us, but consider the risk and problem one could face because of sleep disorder might make it right routine to do.
